Celebrating National Identity: The 78th Independence Day Seminar
Date: January 4, 2026
Location: Main Assembly Hall, FUTURE STARS Preschool & Private School
Participants: Students, Faculty, and Guest Speakers
FUTURE STARS Preschool & Private School recently hosted a vibrant and educational seminar to commemorate Myanmar’s 78th Independence Day. The event was designed to move beyond traditional celebrations, focusing instead on educating our young learners about the historical significance of sovereignty, the value of peace, and the responsibility of the next generation.
Seminar Highlights
The day began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a series of engaging sessions tailored for different age groups:
Historical Journey (Primary & Secondary): Guest speakers shared stories of the heroes who paved the way for independence. Students participated in an interactive “Timeline Challenge,” mapping out the key milestones leading to 1948.
“Future Leaders” Workshop: Our older students engaged in a roundtable discussion on what independence means in a modern, globalized world—touching on themes of digital sovereignty and economic self-reliance.
Cultural Exhibition (Preschool): Our youngest stars celebrated through art, creating “Independence Trees” decorated with messages of hope and peace, and performing traditional songs that reflect our rich cultural heritage.
